Captain – Gameweek 5

deBruyne

Kevin DeBruyne (10.0m) has our confidence and is sure to light up the Premier League right from the first whistle. A lot of people would be a little skeptical about choosing him as an outright captain without allowing him to prove himself, but we feel this lad lets his feet do all the talking and would be a major differential once he does let loose. With 10 goals and 20 assists in his name from the Bundesliga last season, his attacking potential cannot be doubted. Additionally Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that David Silva is still carrying an ankle knock, so will be rested this week, spelling a sure shot start for our record breaking Man City signing. He’s a player who’s always looking to score and we’re certain he’s going to get all the support he needs from his new teammates.

Sergio Aguero (13.2m) is still finding his form. But we’re sure he wont need much longer, seeing how his club is performing with a 100% win record and 0 goals conceded. One game is all that’s needed to kick start the explosion, and this gameweek could just be that.

Alexis Sanchez (11.0m) is our third choice for the armband this week. Fresh from scoring a goal for Chile in the internationals, he’ll be raring to go again against a frail Stoke City defense.
